Group counseling, part of our outpatient program, which provides a supportive environment where the individual can drop their defenses and where self-exploration is encouraged
Group Counseling
A 16-week program that includes the following:
Group activities, which include, but are not limited to, exercises that enhance self-worth and promote the developmental skills for coping with stress, solving problems, defining personal values, and decision-making.
Accurate information about drugs and their affects on the body and mind.
Individual Counseling
Individual counseling sessions provide a supportive and trusting environment in which individuals can explore areas that are normally threatening in the presence of others. Counselor and client will together explore emotions, feelings, negative consequences, and behaviors directly related to the individual’s drug abuse. Appointments for individual counseling are set up at the client’s convenience directly with his/her counselor.
